While I have been primarily a MAC OS X user, I am quite comfortable using Windows 7. While I have only used the keyboard viewer on an Apple computer while using the board, I think that the advantage it has over the Windows 7 on-screen keyboard is that by pushing down the ALT key or the ALT + SHIFT key, I can see in the Keyboard viewer the special character/symbol I need when typing.... which is a feature that Windows 7's on-screen keyboard lacks, and so if I need to find a special character such as " § " I would need to either copy and paste it or look up the key code.

This is crap! I bet if the cancer would have caused Steve Job to have less motor function this would have been solved! Those keystrokes people are real assholes too. The Mac has great performance it is a shame they do not care about the disabled. That stupid iPhone practically is overly enginerred to do stupid shit. I am angry I spend 3g's for my iMac. I may sound inappropriate but this Mac flaw is very ridiculous!

Thanks for the review, Blake! I'm eager to read it and may reward myself for finishing the taxes (should that actually happen!) by ordering it.

And may one of your 'lunch runs' lead to so much more! I have no doubt that something very satisfactory is waiting for you :)

I couldn't agree more Blake! I'm so frustrated to read responses to posts-especially when the original poster is a teen or someone new to disability identity development and the reply to an honest reflection of a challenge is basically to "suck it up" OR if it involves a social challenge then the response is "people are just trying to be nice" or "People are just trying to understand. We need to educate them." These environments (disability boards) should be our safe places. It should be ok to be honest about things like YES it's frustrating sometimes to be viewed as a constant source of education/inspiration. Sometimes I do JUST want to get my milk and go and that's ok....It's fine that the individual that wants to stop and talk is "just trying to be nice" but it happens ALL the time so don't I have a right to vent about it to people who should understand. When we divide among ourselves, I really feel that internalized oppression is creeping in....It's never ok to just BE according to some....there's always a need to educate, be nice, be cheerful, etc. No one can authentically be all of these things all of the time.
